The Caring Adoptions Mission is:
- To make a positive difference in the lives of children and families through the adoption process
- To identify and educate prospective parents
- To facilitate matching parents with children to create families
Most of the Founders, present Board Members and Staff of Caring Adoptions are Adoptive Parents. Staff members together have six domestic adopted children of whom two are now adult adoptees and Caring Adoptions Board Members. The Caring Adoptions Staff not only can tell you about domestic or international adoption, they can share their experiences and understand your concerns and needs. Infertility is not an abstract concept—it is a reality that these Staff and Board Members have experienced. We invite you to meet with these Staff members and learn, as they did, about adoption, a fulfilling and caring choice. A Staff Member is always available at 1-866-603-7162 or 281-920-4300. Call to learn more, to schedule your attendance at an upcoming “Adoption 101” seminar or for a private consultation.

Caring Adoptions is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. If both the Adopting Parents and Birthmother are located in Texas, Caring Adoptions facilitates the entire adoption process. When only one party is located in Texas, we work with licensed agencies or adoption attorneys in the corresponding state.
Caring Adoptions offers open, closed, semi-open and designated adoptions. Regardless of the type of adoption or location of the parties, Caring Adoptions works with you to manage the full adoption process. Intra-state adoptions must be approved through the Interstate Compact for placement of children in both states. The Staff of Caring Adoptions has extensive experience in case management, which includes meeting Interstate Compact requirements and coordinating with agencies or adoption attorneys in the corresponding states. Caring Adoptions works with both the Birth Family and Adoptive Parents to meet legal requirements in both states.
Caring Adoptions has facilitated over one hundred International Adoptions from 19 countries, including the currently most popular programs in Russia and China. Our Staff works with your agency of choice with a program in the country you select. Caring Adoptions will discuss with you their experiences with these agencies to enable you to make an informed choice.
The social work requirements pre-placement are almost identical to a Domestic Adoption. The difference is the US State Department and respective country requirements. Post placement requirements seem to vary per country. Caring Adoptins will work with your agency to see that these requirements are met. Caring Adoptions has been a registered agency in two countries and the Staff understands the importance of strict compliance with each country’s requirements. Working together we will help you complete an international adoption.
Caring Adoptions was founded and continues to operate on the premise of facilitating adoptions at the lowest possible cost for Adoptive Parents. Because of this premise, Caring Adoptions offers one of the lowest cost domestic adoptions in the State of Texas. Unlike most agencies that “cost average” to cover all contingencies, we pass through only the actual expenses of their Birthmother to Adopting parents.
Working together, the Staff and the Birthmother develop a financial plan approved by the Adoptive Parents to be followed during the assistance period allowed by Texas Department of Family and Protective Services standards. This ensures that only agreed upon and necessary expenditures are paid out. Where possible, Caring Adoptions pays expenses directly to the service provider rather than giving cash to the Birthmother. This is important to control expenditures and ensure that the Birthmother receives the agree services.
Birthmothers are assisted in obtaining Medicare, Food Stamps and other social benefits to which they are entitled. This further reduces the risk to Adoptive Parents and provides security for the Birthmother after the completion of her Individualized Adoption Plan.
When you select Caring Adoptions as your agency, you will receive information in your application package that will help you compute your estimated adoption costs based on recent actual adoptions facilitated by Caring Adoptions.
